A Sword is Coming to All Nations
Judgment approaches...
Did you know judgment is coming to the nations?
Jeremiah 25:29-32 explains that judgment is first coming to modern-day Jerusalem, then to the rest of the world. Listen carefully:
“29 For behold, I begin to work disaster at the city that is called by my name, and shall you go unpunished? You shall not go unpunished, for I am summoning a sword against all the inhabitants of the earth, declares the Lord of hosts.’ 30 “You, therefore, shall prophesy against them all these words, and say to them: “ ‘The Lord will roar from on high, and from his holy habitation utter his voice; he will roar mightily against his fold, and shout, like those who tread grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth. 31 The clamor will resound to the ends of the earth, for the Lord has an indictment against the nations; he is entering into judgment with all flesh, and the wicked he will put to the sword, declares the Lord.’ 32 “Thus says the Lord of hosts: Behold, disaster is going forth from nation to nation, and a great tempest is stirring from the farthest parts of the earth!”(1)
The fact that the whole world is about to be judged begs the question: Why is doom coming to the nations?
The short answer is because the nations have forgotten God’s law—His Torah. However, when you bring up this spiritual reality and its dire consequences, you get one of two responses. The unbelieving crowd that couldn’t care less about the Bible and its numerous prophecies yells, “Yeah, so what?!”
On the other hand, the immediate response from most Christians is that the law is only for the Jews. “The Law is done away with!” they shout with authority. But, is it though?
No.
Not at all.
The law of Moses was given to all those who follow God. He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow; and what He deems as Holy has never changed. In order to become Holy we must first accept Christ as our only Savior and then seek to obey His law (Torah). We must walk like Jesus walked.
Jesus Christ came to fulfill, but not destroy the Law, just like He said in Matthew 5:17.
Thus, in short, the reason why judgment is coming is because the nations have utterly rejected His law. Moreover, the nations—especially those of the collective West—are likely blood descendants of the House of Israel and were scattered among the gentiles, and consequently lost their identity. Remember, the House of Israel is the Northern Kingdom of Israel, and the House of Judah is the Southern Kingdom of Judah. They are two distinct nations. Israel was scattered into the gentile nations, causing them to lose their identity, while Judah eventually returned to Palestine and, despite being cast out of the land again after they crucified our Messiah, Judah never lost their identity. The Jews can trace their lineage back to Judah. Unfortunately, much of the House of Israel has yet to understand who they are and their inheritance promised to them.
The nations have replaced God’s laws and have refused to believe they still apply to them. The world has:
accepted the gentile idols like homes, cars, money, the pride of life (hustle culture and status), etc.
replaced God’s Holy Feasts with Christmas, Easter, and countless other holidays,
eaten the unclean thing such as pork or shellfish when God’s law says to not even touch the carcass as stated in Leviticus 11 and Deuteronomy 14; not to mention 2 Corinthians 6:17 (Yes, even Paul speaks against touching the unclean thing!)
The nations have forgotten their God—their Maker—, and because of lawlessness, the hearts of many have grown cold (see Matthew 24:12). Consequently, God has given the nations over to their sin, and a secular and universalist ideology permeates the West. In the East, the nations have replaced the Messiah with multiple gods or have rejected Him altogether. This is why judgment is coming to the nations.
Additionally, there is another extremely important reason why God is going to destroy the nations. This reason is explained simply in Jeremiah 30:
“For I am with you to save you, declares the Lord; I will make a full end of all the nations among whom I scattered you, but of you I will not make a full end. I will discipline you in just measure, and I will by no means leave you unpunished.”(2)
The key word there is “scattered”. Pay attention to the context, and this passage is speaking of scattered Israel in the end times.
God is going to end the nations so He can regather His Israel back into the land. This prophecy has yet to happen because the nations around the world have not been destroyed en masse. Christ has yet to come in the clouds to call His elect from the four winds (see Matthew 24:31). The prophetical goal here is that the nations will be destroyed, allowing Israel and Judah to return together to be one nation under one king again. That King will be Christ once He returns.
Unfortunately, the creation of the 1948 State of Israel has deterred the churches from teaching the true end-times revelation of the regathering of God’s elect. Once this regathering takes place, Israel will live back in the land forever in peace, which is something no one would dare say about the Jews. They have never been at peace and have had war since the very day 1948 Israel came into existence.
What the prophets of the Bible reveal is that once God’s Israel is back in the land, an army will rise to take advantage of their unwalled villages and wealth, and that is when King Jesus will wipe them out in the Valley of Jehoshaphat once and for all. This end-times war cannot and will not happen until both the Houses of Israel and Judah are living peacefully in the land and are all following Christ, their King, after repenting from their sin.
Those currently living in the 1948 Israel have rejected Christ and have yet to return for their sin.
The biblical House of Israel is still at large in the nations and is just now waking up to its identity as the lost tribes of the Northern Kingdom of Israel that was tossed into the gentiles. The regathering of Israel and Judah is the big end-time event that all of prophecy points toward. One cannot truly understand prophecy until they learn this fact. Pay attention to the prophecy of Ezekiel 37:
“19 Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am about to take the stick of Joseph (that is in the hand of Ephraim) and the tribes of Israel associated with him. And I will join with it the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, that they may be one in my hand. 20 When the sticks on which you write are in your hand before their eyes, 21 then say to them, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will take the people of Israel from the nations among which they have gone, and will gather them from all around, and bring them to their own land. 22 And I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel. And one king shall be king over them all, and they shall be no longer two nations, and no longer divided into two kingdoms. 23 They shall not defile themselves anymore with their idols and their detestable things, or with any of their transgressions. But I will save them from all the backslidings in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them; and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.”(3)
Both Houses of Israel—Israel and Judah—are to be joined to one King and are to be cleansed of their sin. This has not happened yet!
The prophecy of the regathering of Israel is even recorded as early as Deuteronomy. God knew before the whole House of Israel (both Israel and Judah) entered into Canaan to claim the land as their own that there would eventually be a scattering of Israel. He already knew that in the last days He would gather them all back into the land where they will remember their God and become His covenant people once again.
“And when all these things come upon you, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before you, and you call them to mind among all the nations where the Lord your God has driven you, 2 and return to the Lord your God, you and your children, and obey his voice in all that I command you today, with all your heart and with all your soul, 3 then the Lord your God will restore your fortunes and have mercy on you, and he will gather you again from all the peoples where the Lord your God has scattered you. 4 If your outcasts are in the uttermost parts of heaven, from there the Lord your God will gather you, and from there he will take you. 5 And the Lord your God will bring you into the land that your fathers possessed, that you may possess it. And he will make you more prosperous and numerous than your fathers. 6 And the Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your offspring, so that you will love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live. 7 And the Lord your God will put all these curses on your foes and enemies who persecuted you. 8 And you shall again obey the voice of the Lord and keep all his commandments that I command you today. 9 The Lord your God will make you abundantly prosperous in all the work of your hand, in the fruit of your womb and in the fruit of your cattle and in the fruit of your ground. For the Lord will again take delight in prospering you, as he took delight in your fathers, 10 when you obey the voice of the Lord your God, to keep his commandments and his statutes that are written in this Book of the Law, when you turn to the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.”(4)
We are now at the point in time where we must “call to mind” the blessing and the curse that has now overtaken both Houses of Israel. Only with a proper “return” to the Lord and the pure truth of His Word can we ever hope to receive the blessings of the coming gathering event.
Again, the House of Israel was scattered into the nations and has lost its identity while the House of Judah, or the Jews, still knows who it is today. It was only the House of Israel that lived in the North, their capital city being Samaria, and their chief Tribe of the nation being Ephraim (Joseph). It is imperative to know that Israel is a distinct nation from Judah. This single fact of Scripture determines your interpretation of hundreds of pages within the Bible, and it’s time to return to the whole truth.
Jeremiah 31:1-6 speaks of the return of Israel because it is Joseph who is central to all prophecy.
“At that time, declares the Lord, I will be the God of all the clans of Israel, and they shall be my people.” 2 Thus says the Lord: “The people who survived the sword found grace in the wilderness; when Israel sought for rest, 3 the Lord appeared to him from far away. I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you. 4 Again I will build you, and you shall be built, O virgin Israel! Again you shall adorn yourself with tambourines and shall go forth in the dance of the merrymakers. 5 Again you shall plant vineyards on the mountains of Samaria; the planters shall plant and shall enjoy the fruit. 6 For there shall be a day when watchmen will call in the hill country of Ephraim: ‘Arise, and let us go up to Zion, to the Lord our God.’”(5)
Let’s be clear. None of this has happened yet.
Now that it is obvious who is involved and why the judgment and destruction of the nations will happen, what does the actual regathering event look like? How will the House of Israel return?
All of the prophets of old, namely Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel, explain how this big end-time event will play out. First of all, similar to the captivity of the 12 tribes in Egypt, Israel will become captives in the coming satanic New World Order. However, Christ will break them from their captivity as explained in Micah 2:12:
“12 I will surely assemble all of you, O Jacob; I will gather the remnant of Israel; I will set them together like sheep in a fold, like a flock in its pasture, a noisy multitude of men. 13 He who opens the breach goes up before them; they break through and pass the gate, going out by it. Their king passes on before them, the Lord at their head.”(6)
Moreover, Abraham’s Bible Prophecy Secrets Expanded Edition states,
“Just like the children of Israel experienced the original exodus out of Egyptian captivity, they will once again be freed from a final captivity under the coming satanic new world order. This exodus will be so great and so amazing in every respect that it will bring God a new and lasting level of fame throughout the earth that has never been experienced before.”(7)
Similar to the days of the first Exodus, the 12 tribes were tested in the wilderness. The 12 tribes will again be tested a second time before they return to the land. Essentially, God will be a refuge for scattered Israel and Judah in the wilderness, like He was after they left Egypt. Sadly, there will be those who will be rebellious regardless of the blessing wherein they had found refuge under the wings of the Lord in the wilderness. The rebellious will be purged from the rest of the remnant who have passed the test of refinement. God always purifies His people before they are able to receive blessings. Christ further teaches us to deny ourselves, and that is what will happen in the wilderness, that the 12 tribes will once again be sent into testing before they are finally brought back to the land of their inheritance. Just take a look at Ezekiel 20:34-38 for better context of this coming wilderness event:
“34 I will bring you out from the peoples and gather you out of the countries where you are scattered, with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, and with wrath poured out. 35 And I will bring you into the wilderness of the peoples, and there I will enter into judgment with you face to face. 36 As I entered into judgment with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so I will enter into judgment with you, declares the Lord God. 37 I will make you pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant. 38 I will purge out the rebels from among you, and those who transgress against me. I will bring them out of the land where they sojourn, but they shall not enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Lord.”(8)
Jesus will be dealing with His people face to face.
Lastly, similar to the splitting of the Red Sea in the original Exodus, the regathering of Israel will end with a second and profound splitting of the Red Sea.
Okay, you have never heard of this before and may be in a bit of disbelief, but stay here.
Hardly anyone teaches what is about to be shared, and yet it is seen loud and clear in Scripture. Once one understands that there is no rapture and Jesus is not taking us to heaven, then this will all make sense. Jesus is coming back, and a renewed earth will be established as He sets His throne on this earth that was just purified through judgment. Therefore, the regathering will be a second Exodus and will be almost a repeat of what happened before. The ancient Israelites were only the example that would play out for all to understand the main end-times event of God bringing His remnant back into the promised land.
Now, here is the key passage describing the second splitting of the Red Sea as God gathers His people:
“11 In that day the Lord will extend his hand yet a second time to recover the remnant that remains of his people, from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, from Cush, from Elam, from Shinar, from Hamath, and from the coastlands of the sea. 12 He will raise a signal for the nations and will assemble the banished of *Israel*, and gather the dispersed of *Judah* from the four corners of the earth. 13 The jealousy of Ephraim shall depart, and those who harass Judah shall be cut off; Ephraim shall not be jealous of Judah, and Judah shall not harass Ephraim. 14 But they shall swoop down on the shoulder of the Philistines in the west, and together they shall plunder the people of the east. They shall put out their hand against Edom and Moab, and the Ammonites shall obey them. 15 And the Lord will utterly destroy the tongue of the Sea of Egypt, and will wave his hand over the River with his scorching breath, and strike it into seven channels, and he will lead people across in sandals. 16 And there will be a highway from Assyria for the remnant that remains of his people, as there was for Israel when they came up from the land of Egypt.”(9)
Wow! From what is being said here, you can see that the Nile will be split into seven streams for people to walk through. The Sea of Egypt could be a reference to the Mediterranean, but it could very well be a reference to the neighboring Red Sea, which has its northernmost boundary at the Gulfs of Suez. There is no doubt that the foundations of Egypt will be shaken and destroyed, as specifically stated in Ezekiel 30:4 and Isaiah 19:10; and once you see the catastrophe of these prophecies, it is clear that the entire landscape of Egypt and the surrounding areas will literally change.
It appears likely that the Red Sea will be split once again as both Israel (Ephraim) and Judah are no longer enemies but brothers again, returning to the promised land together.
This event has yet to happen.
The counterfeit creation of the 1948 State of Israel was only put into place to serve as a distraction. The father of lies has fooled even the most devout Christians. Multitudes of Bible students have been thrown off track from understanding true prophecy. Many have been unable to get ready for what is coming.
The enemy deceives through twisting Scripture to keep all lost and hopeless. The Good News is that there is hope in Christ and it is wholly possible to overcome all traditions and false teachings of men, no matter how entrenched in society they have become. We must also do our duty of educating those around us, even more so knowing that Christ is coming back to gather Israel back into His fold together with the believing Jews.
In conclusion, a judgment to the nations is coming either because they have completely forgotten God, or they have utterly disobeyed His laws. Additionally, the judgment is meant to destroy the nations where Israel was scattered in order to redeem them. They must endure the the wilderness of both refuge and testing. Lastly, the satanic New World Order apparently headquartered out of Egypt will be destroyed and the Red Sea split again, ensuring that both Israel and Judah have a pathway back into the promised land where they will serve under Christ their King forever and ever.
