Everything that occurred at Mount Sinai during the Feast of Pentecost (Shavuot) was a marriage covenant. The "10 comandments" (as the beginning of this covenant is commonly known as) were the first components of the legal covenant. But there's more to the legal contract between God and His people (...that also includes you and I to this very day).
Today, we will heavily explore the concept of "marriage" and how this applies in a spiritual, literal, and legal sense.
We will connect this understanding to many aspects of the New Testament writings as we continue our study, verse-by-verse, through the Torah in this portion known as "parashat mishpatim" (Exodus 21-24).
