If you’re ready, I want to welcome you to this in-depth analysis of America’s Sign of Jonah omen. It’s now time to summarize some key ideas that could easily be overlooked within the main body of the Bible Prophecy Secrets II book. The information I am about to present is really the last secret of the book that is intended to help you see the bigger picture while making connections to the 120 Cycles of Mankind. Remember in Bible Prophecy Secrets I that I showed you how the Bible proclaims that mankind’s days are only going to be 120 cycles of time. Each cycle is 49 years long. I showed you that we are indeed now living in the very final cycle of time, and it is necessary to make connections to previous cycles of history in the hopes of properly and wisely navigating the last days that we are currently living in.
The Original Sign of Jonah Compared to America’s
Throughout Bible Prophecy Secrets II, the rise and fall of multiple nations had been discussed together with their connection to solar eclipse cycles. The first kingdom that was investigated was the ancient Assyrian Empire which experienced a triple solar eclipse omen over its entire territory from 770 to 763 BC. This is the original Sign of Jonah, and it is shown in the following figures.
The Sign of Jonah: Cycle #63 out of 120.
This celestial sign perfectly explains why the king together with over 120,000 people in the capital city of the Assyrian Empire took Jonah seriously and immediately repented as he preached. Ancient Nineveh understood the true meaning of solar eclipses and acted accordingly. To Assyrians, one of the most serious omens was a solar eclipse, which predicted grave danger for the ruler of the area of the world in which it appeared. Such an omen appearing three times within a seven-year period naturally frightened the entire population of the kingdom. While the first and last signs of the cycle were total eclipses that passed through the northern and southern extremities of the empire, the 765 BC eclipse also played a critically important role. Because it was a total eclipse, the ancient capital of Nineveh saw this particular eclipse with about 79.5% obscuration of the sun, even though its path was farther north of the city and traveled through the Mediterranean Sea including Greece and Turkey. In other words, this would have been a major sign for the Assyrians! To the ancient Assyrians, a partial eclipse was just as important as a total eclipse in terms of being a major warning sign. For this solar eclipse to appear during the same seven-year window of the Sign of Jonah is highly significant, and the message of this original omen is the exact same message that God is now proclaiming to 2020s America during the 120th and final cycle of history. This last cycle is also known as the 70th week of Daniel, and the next figure shows what it looks like.

You can see the solar eclipses listed on the chart. What’s interesting is that this Great American Eclipse cycle began with a total solar eclipse after the sabbatical (or seventh) year of 2016; and it ended with a total solar eclipse after the sabbatical year of 2023. When comparing this final cycle with Cycle #63 and the Sign of Jonah, you will find the exact same thing. The Sign of Jonah begins and ends with two total solar eclipses; and both of these eclipses occurred after sabbatical years. As mentioned before, both cycles had triple solar eclipses. What these two charts reveal to us is that sabbatical years certainly play a role in the ushering in of something new. It doesn’t necessarily have to be judgment, but since the vast majority of nations have never faithfully observed God’s Laws in any significant way, such as the agricultural land rest that is required every 7 years according to Leviticus 25, then the presence of solar eclipses on and around sabbatical years is a sure pronouncement of change in the form of judgment. Farmers simply never give the land a sabbath year of rest according to God’s holy time clock; and this was the key problem that led to the demise of the kingdom of Judah. This is what the writer of Chronicles records:
15 And the LORD God of their fathers sent warnings to them by His messengers, rising up early and sending them, because He had compassion on His people and on His dwelling place.
16 But they mocked the messengers of God, despised His words, and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against His people, till there was no remedy.
17 Therefore He brought against them the king of the Chaldeans, who killed their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion on young man or virgin, on the aged or the weak; He gave them all into his hand.
20 And those who escaped from the sword he carried away to Babylon, where they became servants to him and his sons until the rule of the kingdom of Persia,
21 to fulfill the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed her Sabbaths. As long as she lay desolate she kept Sabbath, to fulfill seventy years.

History is repeating once again. Just like ancient Judah suffered 70 years of captivity in Babylon—one year for each year that they did not honor the seventh year agricultural and financial rest cycle—it is still a sin to this very day for people and nations to not honor God’s Law in this manner. For solar eclipse omens to take place on and immediately after the seventh-year sabbath cycles indicates that the judgment will be a combination of war, slavery, and forced displacement whereby people are going to be removed from their land. Even though Assyria repented at the Sign of Jonah, the Babylonians together with a coalition of Assyria’s enemies took revenge after centuries of experiencing the endless wars and brutality of the Assyrian Empire. Assyria came to its end in 612 BC—just 151 years after the repentance in the book of Jonah took place.1 The lesson here is that even a powerful national repentance like Assyria’s is typically short lived, and all nations experience cycles of revival, righteousness, and prosperity which then ultimately gives way to complacency, immorality, and judgment.
The Cherokee Nation Eclipse Cycle
Another Sign of Jonah event briefly mentioned but not fully explored within Bible Prophecy Secrets II was the solar eclipse cycle from 1694 to 1701—another seven-year omen with profound consequences for the Native Americans. During this cycle and on Christmas Day, December 25, 1699, the New Madrid Seismic Zone experienced its first recorded earthquake. It was a French missionary together with a party of explorers traveling up the Mississippi River who documented this experience. Just south of what is now the modern city of Memphis, Tennessee, this group felt the considerable shaking and were “astonished to see the earth tremble [at] about one…in the afternoon”, as noted in the detailed research of Jay Feldmen.2 The Native Americans also may have taken notice of this particular event. According to Feldmen, “there is at least one report of Native American lore referring to a devastating earthquake before 1811.”3
The Cascadia Subduction Zone (CSZ) was also active during this cycle. Recall that the February 7, 1701 eclipse was significant in the history of the CSZ because it appeared right around the time that the last magnitude 9 megathrust earthquake occurred in the region. Before this eclipse took place over the CSZ, there was an important ring of fire eclipse that took place over significant locations of the United States, including the current capital of the Cherokee Nation—Tahlequah, OK—and also the current capital of the US—Washington, DC. This solar eclipse took place on June 22, 1694. Of course, it was no coincidence that such an eclipse passed through the capital cities of two different nations—one that was well established in the southeastern region of America at the time and one that would soon rise to conquer the entire land from coast to coast.
The Cherokee Nation Omen: Cycle #113 out of 120.
In order to understand this sign, a brief understanding of the Cherokee, or Kituwah, and their capital city of Tahlequah is necessary. It is said by the Kituwah that hundreds, even thousands of years ago, there was a peculiar people now called Cherokee that grew concerned for their generations to come after the tribal elders noticed a falling away from the traditions that kept them flourishing generation after generation. For this reason, seven elders, one from each of the seven clans of the tribe, climbed the tallest mountain in their view to fast and pray for seven days. On the seventh day, an angel of light came down and spoke to the elders introducing himself as, “Yowah.” He then gave them word that He would call them “Kituwah” which means, “People of Yowah.” He also gave them a mother town and named it Kituwah. Thereafter, Yowah explained to the elders that He has heard their prayers and will bless their tribe if they follow the Kituwah path. Yet, if they stray away, a white power from the east will point their feet west until they are pushed off the coast and into the ocean. This prophecy was given to the Kituwah generations before the Trail of Tears sent them west to Tahlequah, Oklahoma, the current capital of the Cherokee Nation, formerly known as Kituwah.4
The falling away of the Kituwah began when they started allying themselves with Great Britain. Great Britain had constantly fought for dominance over North America since the establishment of the original Thirteen Colonies. They would send their army majors to intermarry with tribes, and the Cherokee had many whites in their tribe that would influence their way of life. They began adopting European technologies from the white settlers such as gunpowder and various agricultural practices; and by 1730, Cherokee Elders would visit King George and lay their sovereignty at his feet proclaiming him to be their King. Even to this day, Native Americans view such a move as the single greatest sin that could be made as a tribe—to submit to a foreign power. After the “shot heard around the world” in 1775, the Thirteen Colonies launched their fight for independence. The Colonies also experienced a tremendous revival in what is now known as the Great Awakening that had begun in the 1730s and 40s. With a newfound faith in the God of the Bible and a firm resolve to establish laws of their own, the Colonies rose up and revolted against the British Crown and its taxation-without-representation form of governance. This uprising would prove to be an impossible resistance for Great Britain to handle, so they hired various mercenaries and even received help from the Kituwah. This proved to be the fundamental sin of the Kituwah. They had chosen the wrong side—the British Crown with its corruption and love of gain—and they failed to maintain their way of life. King George was influenced by the Rothschild Banking Houses and directly benefited from the East India Trading company. This was a private company that was the number one group behind the slave trade, and it enriched itself and the Crown through various corrupt practices.
By 1776, the Kituwah were all but destroyed, as evidenced by the town of Kituwah being burned to the ground at the hands of the Rutherford Military Expedition of that same year. The Kituwah were driven westward in the “Trail of Tears” (from 1830 to 1850) where they would adopt the name Cherokee and settle in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, the modern-day capital of the Cherokee Nation—the same place that was subjected to the path of totality of the ring of fire eclipse in 1694. Though it took 82 years (from 1694 to 1776) after the sign was first received, the ancient prophecy was ultimately fulfilled. The Kituwah were displaced because they had forgotten their relationship with the Most High God.
The New Madrid Death Cross
The other major Sign of Jonah event explored in Bible Prophecy Secrets II was the New Madrid Death Cross from June 16, 1806 to September 17, 1811. The newly independent American Colonies were able to witness the entire sign, and it would prove to usher in some of the most devastating earthquakes ever witnessed in the land. Interestingly enough, there was also an Indian Chief named Tecumseh that traveled thousands of miles and worked tirelessly to create a confederation of native Americans called Tecumseh’s Confederacy.5 Tecumseh allied the Natives with the British to oppose American westward expansion. Tecumseh was quite aware of celestial signs, and referenced the 1811 Devil Comet as a sign to accompany his office as a prophet from The Great Spirit, which is how he referred to God. Because Tecumseh was not readily accepted by all of the Native tribes, he sought to prove his authority as being sent by The Great Spirit. He said that he would stomp his foot on the ground once he reached Detroit, and shake every house in Tuckabatchee, Alabama over 800 miles away. Early on the morning of December 16, 1811, Tecumseh’s prophecy was fulfilled, and the United States experienced the largest recorded earthquake east of the Rocky Mountains.
Ultimately, Tecumseh’s Confederacy together with the British failed to defeat the forces of the American Colonies. The Americans continued to firmly establish themselves in the aftermath of the devastating earthquakes and continue to expand westward into what we know today as the United States of America. Tecumseh and the enemies of early America simply did not understand the prophetic identity and significance of Manasseh together with the ancient prophecy of Jacob. Indeed, this prophetic blessing has now run its course in these last days. Manasseh—the United States—has indeed become the last Lost Tribes nation to receive its birthright blessing on the world stage immediately after his brother Ephraim, or Great Britain, had received his.
The New Madrid Death Cross: Cycle #116 out of 120.
After comparing Cycles 63, 113, and 116 to the current 120th Cycle, it is obvious to see the biblical connections. Notice that each cycle begins on or immediately after a seventh sabbatical year in a given 49-year period. It is as if God Himself is showing us exactly how the cycles of empires rise and fall as He delivers His people from evil, until His people fall away from Him; and then He allows the enemies of His people to conquer them in chastisement. It is also obvious that the sin of profaning the sabbatical years leads to the displacement and destruction of nations. Whether this sin is intentional or unintentional—it makes no difference. The solar eclipse signs always seem to point directly to the sabbatical years throughout history.
Ancient Babylon’s Cycle of Judgment
It is with this firm analysis presented that we can now revisit some key ideas from my other work but with a fresh lens to understand the 49-year cycle in which the ancient kingdom of Babylon had fallen.
As mentioned in the Introduction of Bible Prophecy Secrets II, the “writing on the wall” event recorded in Daniel chapter 5 took place in 539 BC. Only 47 years after 586 BC and Nebuchadnezzar’s conquest of Jerusalem, the Babylonians were themselves conquered by the Persians, but the fall of Babylon did not occur without astronomical warnings from God. Indeed, there was in fact another multi-year eclipse omen that took place over the ancient kingdom of Babylon which culminated in Daniel chapter 5 and the writing on the wall incident in 539 BC. Rather than beginning with a solar eclipse, this cycle began with a blood moon (or total lunar eclipse) on May 14, 547 BC that was visible for one hour, nine minutes, and fifty-five seconds within the ancient capital city of Babylon. This impressive celestial sign is depicted in the next figure, and you can see that it was centrally visible to the entire Middle East. Due to its near-perfect viewing location, Babylon was able to easily see this omen.
The Total Lunar Eclipse of 547 BC (NASA).6On October 23, 547 BC, there was then a total solar eclipse that was visible directly over the ancient kingdom of Babylon—a sign that the capital city of Babylon itself would have witnessed with about 60% obscuration of the sun.
