It's time to Overcome Babylon (key 2025 update)

Greetings Overcomers in Christ,

I come to you today with a simple message: You reap what you sow.

Thanks to your ongoing support of Overcome Babylon, we have made great strides in the 2025 Gregorian year. I want to take a moment here in this update to share some key insights. First, this ministry has grown quite a lot, reaching 41.8k streams & downloads on Spotify with 367% more listeners and 243% more listening time than last year. Overcome Babylon also ranked in the top 5% of video podcasts on Spotify, outpacing the growth of 94% of other podcasts. This reality is important. I’m always excited when alternative platforms get more traction, because YouTube and other mainstream platforms like Instagram (Meta) do experience a greater level of censorship. This is especially true for TikTok, which was recently acquired by Zionist Jewish billionaire, Larry Ellison. Of course, YouTube grew quite a bit, with +27.2K new subscribers and 3.9 million views.

The truth is that the world of online ministry and social media is constantly evolving. Significant press conferences, major merger / acquisitions (like TikTok), and other developments can change the rules of engagement, sometimes overnight. That’s why it is important for each one of us to take advantage of the time we have to make an impact for the Kingdom of God, while we still have the opportunity to do so.

Carefully examine these words of Yeshua:

26 Jesus also said, “The Kingdom of God is like a farmer who scatters seed on the ground. 27 Night and day, while he’s asleep or awake, the seed sprouts and grows, but he does not understand how it happens. 28 The earth produces the crops on its own. First a leaf blade pushes through, then the heads of wheat are formed, and finally the grain ripens. 29 And as soon as the grain is ready, the farmer comes and harvests it with a sickle, for the harvest time has come.” - Mark 4:26-29 NLT

The words of this parable apply to each one of us who are actively working the spiritual fields. Every time we share a video, a Scripture message, a Gospel tract--whatever it is--we are scattering the seed of the Word of God. Eventually, the seed sprouts and takes root, but we honestly don’t know how it happens. Most of the time, it feels like scattering seed doesn’t even make a difference. At least, that’s how I personally feel to be completely transparent. But, eventually what appeared to be a hopeless endeavor becomes a bountiful harvest. 🌾

And that’s where we find ourselves right now with Overcome Babylon.

The reality is that the year 2025 is still not over. I have a few interesting guests planned for this month for new episodes. There are also some other things I am going to do before December ends--things that I wanted to finish earlier this year but didn’t have time for. If you recall, I put forth a survey inside of the Telegram channel back in September. After the completion of the Spanish translation of Bible Prophecy Secrets, I asked the community what the next language should be for another translation of the book. Here is what 75 votes revealed:

The vote came in with 52% of people stating that a Mandarin Chinese version of Bible Prophecy Secrets would be a good idea. French landed in second place, Arabic in third, and then Russian and Portuguese tied for fourth place.

After much consideration, prayer, and research, it has become quite clear which translation project should be pursued next. Back in late September, a lady from within our community reached out via email with some timely sentiments about her recent travels to Portugal and her desire to reach the Portuguese-speaking people of the world with the message of the Gospel and end times. Less than a couple weeks after our initial interaction, she pledge a kind donation to help make a Portuguese translation of Bible Prophecy Secrets a reality. That was the moment I knew the direction we were headed next. But, why Portuguese? How big is this language around the world, and would it be a worthwhile investment? The statistics don’t lie. Portuguese is indeed one of the most spoken languages in the world. According to the 2025 edition of Ethnologue, Portuguese is not only in the top ten languages in the world, it ranks at number five:

This is the city of Macau, which is a place where Portuguese is one of the two official languages, alongside Chinese, and is used in government documents and communications. There is also much Portuguese heritage in Africa. Let us not forget the giant country of Brazil. 🇧🇷

Now, if you aren’t familiar with Duolingo, it is the largest language learning platform in the world with over 570 million users globally. Their internal report for 2025 revealed that “Chinese, Korean, and Portuguese [were] among [the] fastest-growing languages” in the world. They go on to state:

“These three languages are noteworthy for being among the fastest-growing languages in some of the largest language-learning markets in the world. ...Portuguese ranks #1 among fastest-growing languages in China and India—perhaps for economic reasons, as Brazil’s economic and cultural influence continues to expand—and it’s #2 in Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, and Türkiye.” (Source: https://blog.duolingo.com/2025-duolingo-language-report/)

This information further reinforces my decision to move forward with a Portuguese translation of Bible Prophecy Secrets. Like I talked about within the Spanish translation, the entire Iberian Peninsula has a strong Hebrew-Christian heritage. There is so much evidence of the Lost Tribes of Israel having ancient roots to this land after the dispersion of the Northern Kingdom in 721 BC. It was one of the places that became a key Christian identity before, during, and after the middle ages. It was a place that the apostle Paul himself frequented in order to deliver the Gospel. The Lost Sheep of the House of Israel are indeed found within the Portuguese identity in the world today, and the message of Bible Prophecy Secrets is already perfectly written with a slant that will reach the Portuguese.

After a good amount of research, I’m confident that I’ve found a Christian translator that is able to take on this project. His name is Isaías Lanzeloti, a translator who has worked directly with Rogerio Formigoni and Christiane and Renato Cardoso. He also has translated Christian movies and soap operas for Seriella Production Company and Univer, books and articles for Unipro, and promotional content and Prayer Guides for RUN Ministries. Experience like this doesn’t come cheaply, of course. We’re looking at $1,950, plus fees and taxes, with a 60-day delivery time. Formatting the book will then take us to about $2300 to make this project a reality. Of course, that doesn’t include my labor, but I don’t factor that in. It’s a labor of love on my part.

In 2025, the English-speaking world was reached more than ever before by Overcome Babylon, and the Spanish world experienced the fresh opportunity to read about Daniel’s 70 Weeks and the 120 Cycles of Mankind. Let us go and reach the Portuguese world next in 2026, especially as the influence of the BRICS countries continues to grow.
