The Upcoming Blood Moon on March 3, 2026

What will the March 3rd total lunar eclipse bring about?

➤ First of all, why do eclipses even matter?

If you’re new to understanding biblical astronomy, don’t worry. I wasn’t always paying that much attention to solar or lunar eclipses and these sorts of celestial signs because I didn’t think they were really that important. But after 2020 and the pandemic, I started noticing patterns.

And more patterns…

And suddenly, even the finger of God became apparent on an economic and geopolitical scale like I had never considered before. It was as if God had been openly broadcasting the very things that he is orchestrating on the earth, but I was too distracted and irreverent for many years to really stop and notice.

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m guilty. And if I’m being completely transparent, I confused the simple study of God’s creation with what many people refer to as magical astrology, which is a mixed bag of superstitious and pagan beliefs connected to sign seeking and even communication with demonic entities.

Biblical astronomy is completely different.

Of course, I know you might still be skeptical of my claims, so it’s important to go back to the Instruction Manual of God—the Bible—for a firm foundation. From a biblical astronomy perspective, we are told at the very beginning of the Book that the lights in the firmament were specifically created to serve as signs:​

Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years...” - Gen. 1:14

Sometimes when I talk with people about God, they ask this question (I’m sure you’ve heard this one before): “If God is real, then why doesn’t he show me a sign?”

Well, the truth is that He wants people to accept Him by faith. But it’s also true that He has given us plenty (and I mean plenty) of signs to work with already. Most people just aren’t paying attention, and life has always been this way. It was only a few wise men that found the star in Bethlehem on the exact day of the birth of Christ. There could have been a multitude, but there were only a few wise men.

Let’s attempt to be wise here and take a look to see what might be going on.

We were already told by the prophet Joel that the moon would be altered and also that the sun would be darkened (these are eclipses) in anticipation of the great Day of Yehovah, the LORD. Here’s just one verse from chapter 2 that does a good job highlighting this point:

The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD. - Joel 2:31

God is indeed showing us signs. Are you paying attention?

Now, before we discuss the March 3, 2026 total lunar eclipse, I think it’s a good time to take a trip down memory lane. Let’s look at historical trends because therein lies the key to understanding the future. Hence the old adage: “those who don’t learn from history are doomed to repeat it.” I will provide two excellent case studies of why this overlooked topic of astronomy is of utmost importance.

➤ The November & December 2021 Economic Omen

Back in January of 2022, I was diligently researching the effects of solar and lunar eclipses on macroeconomic and geopolitical events. What I found was both utterly interesting and terrifying. Without the hard work and astute observations of Cyrus Harding, a former NSA linguist featured on the podcast, the things I am about to share here would not be possible. I specifically emailed him back in January 2022 about the solar and lunar eclipses that were coming up very soon that year. We had an interesting dialogue about it, which led me to understand the nature of cycles generally speaking.

Here’s one thing I discovered.

Back on November 19, 2021 there was a partial lunar eclipse centrally located just to the east of Hawaii. Then 15 days later on December 4th, 2021 there was a total solar eclipse around Antarctica.

What happened back then? Well, both stocks and especially cryptocurrencies corrected significantly at the end of that particular lunar-solar eclipse cycle.

Crypto took a huge dive and bottomed out around January 22, 2022. Some alt coins lost -80% or more of their value. Many never recovered and dropped to -99% as the market lost billions of dollars. The most fascinating part of all of this was that the markets started correcting very heavily on the news that Evergrande, one of the largest real estate developers in China, would default on its debts. This news started coming out on the new moon of December 4th, 2021. The straw that broke the camel’s back was the Federal Reserve’s crushing announcement that they were probably going to hike interest rates in order to combat increasing inflation. This announcement happened on the new moon of January 4/5th, 2022.

The markets arguably had not been the same since then. We entered a completely new macroeconomic cycle after that eclipse cycle took place during November and December 2021.

The US dollar had also been losing its world reserve status as Russia, China and other countries began moving away from it more significantly. More and more countries, especially in the BRICS alliance, began to trade oil and gas in currencies other than USD like never before. Of course, the most significant event in the recent history of WWIII began when Vladimir Putin announced the beginning of his special military operation in Ukraine on February 24, 2022. This event also coincided with what is called “Pluto’s Return” on February 22, 2022, in which Pluto finished its cycle around the cosmos—an event that only occurs once in about every 248 years.

Only now are we finally seeing the inevitable military confrontation developing, where China, Russia, Pakistan, and other allies are rallying to protect Iran against Israel and the United States. This is the climactic point of the storyline in which the dying empire of Israel and the western hegemony tried everything they could to imperialize and exploit the world of its resources, like in the recent capture of Venezuela’s President Maduro, but it just wasn’t enough to stop the inevitable collapse of the US dollar.

Going back to the 2021 cycle: the key idea was that we entered a new paradigm in the financial markets. And it was ushered in after a specific eclipse event together with Pluto’s return. This cycle first led to war between Russia and Ukraine, and it eventually led to war between Iran and Israel together with the solidification of the BRICS alliance from 2022-2026. Now in early 2026 we are seeing the world war reach its breaking point as Israel demands regime change in Iran with no other options for negotiation.

➤ The March & September 2025 Blood Moons

The year 2025 was a very significant year for biblical astronomy, and it was directly connected to the Iran and Israel war, more specifically The 12-Day War.

There were two total lunar eclipses, or blood moons, that warned us of what was coming. The first one took place on March 14, 2025. Here’s what it looked like:

As you can see, this blood moon was almost perfectly central over the United States. Both North and South America could see it very clearly, of course. I had posted a video back on February 28, 2025 attempting to discern what this blood moon could mean. I had mistakenly connected the sign’s appearance to a new Wuhan-style bat virus scare that was becoming major news around that timeframe. The problem was that I didn’t properly consider the very next total lunar eclipse that same year and how this March blood moon was directly connected to it. The next blood moon took place on September 7, 2025, and this is what it looked like:

This blood moon was centrally located over western China and the eastern portion of India. But the main country that was the primary recipient and did in fact see the blood moon in its entirety was Iran. It was also visible in Israel and Jerusalem, but the moon was between the P1 and U1 shadow. P1 refers to the first point in time where the penumbral shadow marks the beginning of a partial eclipse. U1 refers to the first part of the umbral shadow that marks the beginning of the umbral eclipse (either total or annular). Even though Israel was a recipient, Iran was the primary recipient of the blood moon omen.

Once I realized what this twin eclipse event actually meant, I posted my analysis on a YouTube video dated October 1, 2025. You can watch it by clicking here. The main point from that video is that the duration between March 14 and September 7 was a period of 178 days. Using online tools like Time and Date, you can figure out the midpoint of the cycle. And guess what? The exact middle of the cycle—June 11—took place only two days before The 12-Day War started.

The official duration of the war was from June 13 to June 24, 2025. This was the first time that Iran clearly demonstrated how quickly and effectively it was able to overrun Israel’s missile defense systems and hit many targets successfully. It was reported that there were 36 ballistic missile impacts in populated areas of Israel with hospitals overrun with thousands of patients. This was also a significant moment in history because the US became directly and openly involved in bombing the country of Iran, even though there was no justification according to international law to carry out such preemptive strikes. The sole purpose of US involvement was to protect the borders of Israel and guarantee the safety of Netanyahu’s regime. That is why Trump authorized the use of military force on June 21, conducting bunker-buster strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites, which have since proven to be completely ineffective. This one move by Trump forever doomed the legitimacy of US diplomatic relations in the region and even worldwide, especially after the sequestration of President Maduro on January 3, 2026.

In other words, the blood moon omens of 2025 directly foretold of direct US involvement in the Middle Eastern theatre of war. The US was the first key recipient of the March blood moon; Iran was the next primary recipient of the September blood moon. Together, these eclipses served to broadcast God’s foresight and demonstrate, as the biblical prophet Joel stated, that we are so incredibly close to the “Day of the LORD” that accompanies celestial signs just like these. ➤ The Blood Moon of March 3, 2026

This analysis now wisely brings us to the present. What should we expect from this upcoming blood moon? Time will tell, but here’s what it looks like:

This one’s centrally visible over the Pacific Ocean. The NASA image above doesn’t do a great job representing it visually and cuts it out awkwardly. Here’s another snapshot of what it looks like using satellite imagery from Xjubier:

From a geological perspective, the entire oceanic tectonic plate commonly referred to as the Pacific Plate is the direct recipient of this blood moon. If we zoom in a little more on the Xjubier website, you will see that it is actually Hawaii that is nearly perfectly in the center of this blood moon’s visibility (notice the black circle near the middle, a little to the left—I realize it might be hard to see):

If you have been following my previous work, this blood moon should be alarming. Back on December 9, 2025, I published a video reporting on the impressive uptick of major earthquakes exceeding 6.0 and above throughout the Pacific Plate. From Russia, to Japan, to Alaska, we had been seeing some very massive moves during the first week or so of December. Perhaps the coming blood moon is warning us of even bigger and more frequent earthquake events to come. This warning would coincide with the other major signs that we had received during the Aleph Tav solar eclipse omen from 2017 to 2024 that I covered in my book, Bible Prophecy Secrets II. The past couple weeks have also seen an increase in earthquake activity around San Ramon, California and other parts of Southern California. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if the Cascadia Subduction Zone in the Pacific Northwest gets more active on and around this upcoming blood moon. This could be the year when we finally see the big one that scientists have said the Cascadia is overdue for.

From a religious point of view that concerns the Middle East, it just so happens that the Jewish festival of Purim begins at sundown on Monday, March 2, 2026 and then concludes at nightfall on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. Because of the overlap between a Jewish national holiday and a blood moon, there are some major scenarios that should be considered. It could be that Iran might find it advantageous to make a preemptive strike, cyber attack, or some similar sort of warfare leading up to, if not directly coinciding with, this holiday event. It’s not entirely clear if Iran is in a hurry to engage in war with the US and Israel, however. But if the US does indeed attack Iran, the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has already made it clear that such an event will quickly lead to a ‘regional war’ as he stated in a February 1, 2026 warning.

There a few more things to consider. We won’t see another blood moon like this one on March 3rd until years later on December 31, 2028. Later this year, we will see a partial lunar eclipse on August 28, 2026 that will be centrally visible over Venezuela. Maybe we should be expecting something to really kick off into high gear over there, whether it is war, civil war, or some sort of BRICS-connected event aimed at overthrowing US imperialistic control of Venezuelan resources. It’s really hard to say anything definitive at this point in time. Regarding solar eclipses in 2026, I’m not seeing anything obviously significant. We are only going to experience a south pole annular solar eclipse on February 17, 2026, and then we will see a north pole total solar eclipse on August 12, 2026. The August solar eclipse is interesting because it will pass through Greenland. Considering Trump’s rhetoric in the acquisition of this territory by the use of military force, maybe we should be expecting something to take place around August in terms of news concerning this whole idea. For now, it seems that Denmark, who currently governs Greenland, is expressing some sort of common ground with the Trump administration. At the same time, some experts argue that Greenland is necessary for US national security in light of Chinese and Russian operations in the Arctic. The issue of Greenland is certainly something to be watching.
