“Simplistic” simply means you are ignoring the text and making a blanket statement. Matthew 7:23 says “MANY” who called on the name of Jesus and trusted him for salvation will be rejected because of LAWLESSNESS
Lawlessness is defined as unbelief. We are all lawless by nature and saved by the divine. His blood covers all the sin of the believer. How would you irradiate your lawlessness and how are you sure you are “saved”?

However, you are changing the definition of “anomia” or lawlessness, and this is what most religious people to do avoid the obvious definition of breaking the Law of God (Torah). There is a different Greek word for unbelief
All people who do not accept Christ as savior are seen as evildoers. So they will be rejected on judgement day. It is only through Christ that our works and lives are seen as pure. We cannot work for our salvation, we receive it. And God is all inclusive meaning he offers this salvation to all mankind, if they reject it is their fault not God’s.
Denying Christ and rejecting the free gift of salvation is the unpardonable sin!

In addition the verse you are referring to regards false prophets who bear bad fruit. Not true believers that bear good fruit.

Without faith in Christ and His redemptive work, there is no salvation
