One thing I have never seen addressed though is the error of a Palm SUNDAY.
That isn't possible.
The Passover sacrifice is to be on the 14th. The sacrificial lamb to be brought in to the house (in this case Jerusalem) on the 10th day. Working backwards from Wednesday the 14th we get SATURDAY the 10th.
The sacrificial lamb to be one year old. Does that imply Yeshua had a one year ministry ?
You know, the Palm Sunday error is such a big thing that I decided to add a few lines into my article. That way, it really can be a "Complete Guide". Thanks for brining this point to my attention, David
In a book by Joachim Jeremias ,Jerusalem in the Time of Jesus" he reckons the crowds of "foreigners" at Pentecost would have been there since Passover - and probably both Passovers being the Mosaic Passover follow by the Sadducees and the Pharisee Passover being that celebrated during the exile.
I also read somewhere that as Yeshua entered Jerusalem by the East Gate Pilate on a horse with a large Roman military escorts was entering at the same time by the West Gate. Pilate did not reside in Jerusalem but only entered at important dates - including festivals
David, As far as Christ having a one-year ministry, this is not correct. I made a YouTube video about the birth of Christ being born on Sept 11, 3 BC. From there you can see how Christ’s ministry was more than a year long based on the life of John the Baptist and other details. I don’t have that particular idea fresh on my mind now, but feel free to investigate https://youtu.be/kOSv8fP_vMk
Good point about Palm Sunday. I didn’t address this issue directly in my article, but if you look at the timeline in Figure 2, you will see that Yeshua entered Jerusalem for the triumphal entry 5 days before Passover, which was a Friday.
Yes, I agree it needs to be corrected. I heard a recent discussion about Passover with Melissa Schilling Smith and Scott Harmon. They agreed that the Messiah would have ridden into Jerusalem on the donkey on the Friday (the 9th day of Aviv that year). He would not have ridden a donkey on the Sabbath because none of your animals are to work on the Sabbath. Then, on the Sabbath (the 10th day of Aviv that year) , He would have gone to the Temple where He would have been “examined” as part of the process He underwent to be sacrificed for us. This makes. Lot of sense to me. Their discussion should be up on YouTube (God’s Little Hummingbird Bible Teaching or Douglas Hamp Ministries).
One thing i fail to understand is: when a new day starts at sunset (eve), how can the 9th hour be equal to 3pm? Should this not be 3am? (as the sun around this time of year usually sets at about 6pm). What part do i mis(understand)?
Great question. The authors of the NT were writing from a Greco Roman perspective to communicate to their audience. I believe this is the reason they were speaking of time according to daylight hours, but I would have to look into it more.
On your Complete Timeline you indicate the Lord's Supper being on Tuesday, but then later on your list of this year's Feast Days you have the Lord's Supper on Thursday. I am confused.
The Feast Days change from year to year, depending on what specific evening the new moon was sighted to begin the first month. The Holy Days of the NT Passion week are therefore different from this particular year (2026) because the new moon landed on different days of the week. Hope that helps
Sometimes halal certified is better than what you can randomly get from the store without any certification or quality indicators. But I know what you mean! Pray and do your diligence. Also keep in mind:
1Co 8:4 - Therefore concerning the eating of things offered to idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no other God but one.
Yes, I'm aware that there is no power in their false idols, but we are told not to eat that meat sacrificed to idols. So I never do:) Also, Paul was talking to those who were afraid to eat meat at all in case it was offered to idols. He was pointing out their lack of faith and encouraging them to be stronger in the faith.
I also don't want to support the growing Halal meat industry that is becoming more pervasive everywhere. No thank you!
Another question concerns what Paul wrote to the church in Colossae,
“Therefore, no one is to act as your judge in regard to food and drink, or in respect to a festival or a new moon, or a Sabbath day— things which are only a shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ.” (Col 2:16-17)
It seems like we are free from ceremonial laws of Israel as NT believers. How do you understand his teaching?
thank you! this child of God is doing what she can to unlearn the indoctrination. bless you!
Excellent timescale.

Two more things that may or may not be true.

Great article - all the things in one place. I shared it!

Wait, I just saw your telegram - the dates were originally incorrect? Yikes...I'll have to tell my guests to come a day early now!
I do sincerely apologize for any inconvenience 🙏 God bless you and your guests!
That's no problem at all! In fact, some guests that previous couldn't attend are able to the day earlier so all good!
Now to source some local lamb that is NOT 'halal-certified'! Very tough
:(

This is an incredibly insightful study, and is very clearly presented, Abraham. Thank you so much!
Thank you, Abraham.
